Since 2019
Every file is test-cut before it ships.
Kerf, joints and fit — verified on the machine, not just on screen.
Laser & CNC file design · Toronto, Canada
I'm Tofigh Chaharlang. I design production-ready laser cut and CNC files — kerf-compensated, layered and test-cut — for makers, maker shops and product brands worldwide.

Why designers send me their files
Most files fail on the bed for the same few reasons: open paths, duplicated lines, joints drawn without kerf allowance, and layers the machine cannot tell apart. The render looks perfect and the assembled product does not fit.
I design the other way round — from the material and the machine back to the artwork. Every commission is cut before it is called finished, so what arrives in your inbox is a file that runs, not a picture of one.

How a commission runs
Most commissions take three to seven days, depending on complexity and how many revision rounds you want along the way.
01
We agree on the product, its finished dimensions, the material and the machine it will run on.
02
Concept sketches first, then clean vector geometry or a full 3D model built to real tolerances.
03
Joints, kerf and fit are verified against a test cut before anything is called finished.
04
Layered, labelled files in every format you need, plus an assembly guide and a commercial licence.
